Responsibilities: 
  • Lead a critical function on the marketing team, acting as the right hand and partner to the VP of Marketing
  • Set demand generation strategy and guide execution
  • Plan, implement, and measure multichannel demand generation programs to drive brand awareness, inbound pipeline generation, and accelerate inbound revenue
  • Analyze performance data and report on results, including campaign results, data stories, and spend recommendations. Rapidly iterate on strategy based on findings
  • Build a sustainable pipeline from a variety of online and offline channels
  • Manage a budget, right-size investments in each channel
  • Influence all aspects of marketing, including budgeting, content, integrated campaigns, and overall marketing themes
  • Measured on real impact (revenue results, not leads)
  • Drive awareness and understanding for A.I. in finance operations
  • Optimize the demand process to get the most out of content, generated leads, site visitors, customers, etc.
  • Put out thoughtful, high-quality campaigns, hard-hitting messages, and impactful ads
  • Professional lead management, progressing through the marketing funnel
  • Move the team / program to a predictive state through aggressive management, thorough reporting, constant process tweaking, and A/B testing
Requirements: 
  • Experience effectively managing large components of the marketing budget, and know how to get the most out of every dollar (while also not being afraid to take risks and experiment)
  • Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels
  • Know how to scale and are always thinking about and preparing for that next stage of growth
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
  • Be ready for the highs and lows of an early-stage company and always have a Plan B (for when a campaign not working as planned). Since you are hands-on and know what indicators to look for, you will know if it is not working early on
  • Be transparent, honest, and authentic.
  • You are a team player (zero ego) with exceptional communication skills. You advocate for yourself and your team and balance that with the good of the overall company
  • You are a great negotiator and know when / how to push for better commercial deals
  • Be able to live / work in the San Francisco Bay Area
