Responsibilities: 
  • Work with the client’s IT team to communicate how to address deep technical aspects of the implementation
  • Focus on integrations, architecture, infrastructure and security
  • Understand the prospective customer’s technical environment and how the proposed solution fits
  • Articulate the technical requirements and give comfort regarding security
  • Responsible for the technical aspects of the solution during POC engagements. This may include loading a customer’s data and ensuring that the system is configured appropriately
  • Develop deep expertise of company products and services
  • Create compelling demonstrations, presentations and business value documents
  • Identify and resolve critical business issues
  • Take technical ownership of the entire sales cycle
  • Assist the AE with qualification and discovery steps in sales cycle
  • Provide thoughtful responses to RFI/RFP, information security and similar requests
  • Successfully manage proof-of- concept and pilot engagements
Requirements: 
  • 5+ years in solution consulting experience and/or similar roles
  • Experience with Ariba, Procure to Pay or other P2P solutions (preferred)
  • Understanding of security and data privacy
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven background helping to sell enterprise business software
  • Strong balance of sales, business and technical skills
  • Bachelor degree (computer science or finance discipline preferred)
  • Be energetic and motivated
